I really love floral photography. There isn't nearly enough time to post even a smidgeon of all one might see at the Tulip Festival, so I'm doing my best to so the "most" of the gardens. I'll throw in a few more close ups later on this week. This walkway was one of my favorite. It is soothing, and calm rather than bright and showy.

Great perspective!
Hi Abby, Thanks for many visits to San Diego DP! I'm sorry that I don't have more time to visit other blogs - but I'm just barely keeping up with my own. I'm glad that you liked the arches at the House of Hospitality and feel free to print away - and thanks for asking!
Great series!!! Me in Rossio and you in the gardens!
How refreshing to see these beautiful flowers. Thank you for sharing and for your blog.
A, what is the etiquette for "borrowing" your beautiful photos on my blog? And how do you spell etiquette?!
Abby, this is very beautiful. I hope if all is ok to have the possibility to see all those tulips on next spring 2009. It is our turn to go to America to visit our friends.
MaryAnn, I think you have shown proper etiquette by asking, (and spelled it properly, too.) You can always link them to my blog, also - which is great. I love to meet new people.
Claude,
If you arrange your trip to happen around mid-April, you will most likely be able to see the festival. If not, there is a lovely display at Temple Square as well, which may be blooming for you.
