We call her Mt. Timpanogos

Last week I showed you a sunset over the Oquirrhs. This week, I thought I'd show you some of the Wasatch Range which hems in the East side of Salt Lake Valley. I'll try again someday when the weather is better. With blue skies, and snow these babies really sparkle. They are also gorgeous in the summer when they are all GREEN GREEN and brown. In the fall all of the leaves start to turn, and there will be waves of color across them. I'll try to get all of these in time. Today, we have Traverse Ridge - which runs along the base of the valley looking somewhat like a fence in front of Mt. Timpanogos. From the title of my post, I'm sure you recognize that I'm cheating a little bit. Timp is in Utah Valley, just south of us. She is a tower, and I have a soft spot for her because my college years were spent at her feet.
For those of you longing for some architecture, I'll get to that soon. Bear with me - I just wanted to show a little more about where all that architecture was located first. This photo was taken from the Oquirrh bench.

Muito Obrigada! By the way - have you noticed that you are my biggest fan? If you think this one is good, wait until you see a clear day in my valley. I was a little disappointed with the weather but you can't control everything.

That's a lovely shot. There's something about mountains at any time of the day that always make a great photo!
