This was a lovely, bright winter morning. It snowed this morning, lightly - still a bit unusual for October. The mountains, this one being Lone Peak, still had a dusting of snow and the clouds were still fairly low when I took this shot. It looks a little like I'm floating or flying somewhere but I'm really just on the other side of the valley fairly high up on the foothills of the opposite mountains.Thursday, October 16, 2008
Sky Watch: Above the clouds.

We get views like this in the winter quite often. Low clouds hang over the ocean, but if you ride your quad up into the high country you can look down on a sea of clouds below. I invite you to come see my sky views from the BC Ferry to Powell River. -- Margy
